United Way of Greater Lafayette recognizes outstanding volunteers and corporate partners each January during its Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon. 2019 was a success because of the hard work of many individuals and companies across the community.

Best Overall Campaign Awards

This award will recognize the results of an organization’s United Way campaign efforts.  Organizations will be ranked compared to their peers by numerically evaluating the following criteria: employee per capita giving levels (35%), employee percent growth over previous year giving levels (30%), employee dollars raised (25%), and total dollars raised (10%).

Rookie Campaign of the Year

This award recognizes a new employee campaign and one new Employee Campaign Coordinator who went above and beyond to run a great employee campaign.

Employee Campaign Coordinator of the Year

This award recognizes an individual whose creativity and dedication translated into positive results for their company’s United Way campaign.  Areas such as increasing awareness, increasing participation, and years of service are areas of consideration for this award. 

Chairman Awards

The Campaign Chair Award is given at the discretion of the campaign chair.

Bill DeFouw Campaign Leadership Award

This award honors the memory of Bill DeFouw who was a leader in promoting United Way.  It recognizes an individual who sets an example through his or her role as an active campaigner.
