Wabash Residential Drive

For almost 50 years, the men of Wabash College have joined with the Montgomery County United Fund to go door-to-door throughout Crawfordsville collecting donations for the Montgomery County United Fund campaign.  This year, the Wabash Residential Drive took place on Sunday, October 20, raising over $1,900.

Since 1970, every freshman class of Wabash men has participated in the drive raising over $150,000 to assist area non-profits in providing valuable services to the people of Montgomery County.

We are so appreciative of the efforts of Wabash College to support the Montgomery County United Fund. The community’s willingness to help support our partner agencies is greatly enhanced by the efforts of the Wabash students and staff.

Dr. Eric Olofson, Associate Professor of Psychology at Wabash, led the drive this year.  “Wabash College is excited to continue our tradition of helping the Montgomery County United Fund raise money for local nonprofit agencies that serve our community,” said Olofson. “These agencies are an important part of the fabric of Montgomery County, and we are privileged to be able to give back to a community that gives so much to the College and our students.”

Funds raised each year help to support agencies that provide educational services to preschool children, preventive services to teenagers and pre-teens, and services to adults in need throughout Montgomery County.
