MONTH OF CARING

Month of Caring is an opportunity for community members across Greater Lafayette to seek out opportunities to volunteer and participate in special projects at local organizations.

United Way works with organizations in a variety of service sectors from wilderness conservation to education, family services to food security. Projects vary widely as well, including everything from mulching and weeding gardens and beautifying facilities to serving meals to unhoused residents to collecting various supplies on your own time. Whatever your availability and capacity, we are sure there’s a project that will work for you!

Whether you are looking for a one-time opportunity, or an on-ramp to a long-term volunteer commitment, Month of Caring is the perfect opportunity to take your first steps and find your footing.
