By participating in this event in any capacity to include but not limited to showing at, participating in, purchasing items from, or attending in the 2023 Cruizin for Charity Car Show (hereinafter “Show”) is at your own risk you knowingly and willingly do so at your own risk. The United Way of Greater Lafayette, event coordinator(s), and volunteers, all sponsors and vendors will not be held liable for damages, loss of property, or injury of any degree. By participating in the event you agree to allow us to use photos that are taken at the event as we see fit, i.e. possible promotion of future events, website posting, social media, and or for fundraising purposes now and in the future. Visiting, interacting or purchasing items from our with our Supporters, Donors, and Vendors is at your own risk as well. Please make sure your vehicle is properly insured and you obey all traffic laws on your way to, from, and when on the show grounds. Drive slow and safely when entering, parking, and existing the event area. Be respectful of others attending the event, patrons, event staff and the surrounding neighbors. Ensure if you have any type of awning, tent or umbrella that it is properly secured in the event of sudden weather/wing. We ask you to use your nest judgement and think safety first.

HOLD HARMLESS

Participant for themselves, spouse, heirs, next of kin or legal representative, agrees to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the show, United Way of Greater Lafayette, and any sponsor of the Show and their respective officers , agents or employees (hereinafter “Releases”) from all claims, lawsuits, actions, liabilities, costs and expenses (including attorney’s fees) resulting from injuries (including death), to any person (s), including but not limited to, guests, patrons, invitees, volunteers, contractors, or suppliers of materials, cause in whole or in part by Releases negligence or wanton misconduct occurring at any time during the preparation for, course of, or following the Show. This release shall survive the conclusion of the event.

I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and the Show, United Way of Greater Lafayette and the Sponsors, and sign it of my own free will.
