Marketing Associate
A successful Marketing Associate will be passionate about connecting people with the work and impact of United Way of Greater Lafayette and promoting personal engagement of supporters with United Way initiatives and volunteer opportunities with compelling storytelling through digital communication. You will work closely with multiple teams, both internal and external, to ensure consistency through digital, print and traditional communication channels. Community Engagement Coordinator- Carroll County
To provide support to assigned volunteers and corporate accounts for United Way in Carroll County. Support includes but is not limited to the analysis, development, and scheduling of campaign plans in cooperation with volunteer leadership. To develop account relationships that enhance year-round interaction between United Way and their donor base. Additionally, this position would coordinate efforts and support the local community investment committee (CIC) in accepting and reviewing requests for funding and compiling funding recommendations to be reviewed and approved by the United Way of Greater Lafayette Board of Directors.>>more

Resource Development Associate

Community Impact Intern
VITA Assistant Site Coordinator
30-40 hrs/wk, Mid-January – Mid-April
- Train and certify in tax preparation for VITA-eligible taxpayers
- Be present in the VITA site during operating hours to support volunteers, program manager
- Support volunteers in accurate tax preparation by answering questions or quality reviewing work
- Support clients in completing intake paperwork
- Support program manager by covering preparation vacancies as needed, supporting in client outreach as needed
VITA Client Outreach Specialist
15-30 hrs/wk, Mid-January – Mid-April
- Train and certify in tax preparation for VITA-eligible taxpayers
- Support clients in scheduling appointments via GoogleVoice
- Support clients submitting tax information virtually with status updates, requests for more information, etc.
- Support in-person clients in completing intake paperwork
- Support program manager by covering preparation vacancies and preparing virtually submitted returns as needed
VITA Virtual Submissions Specialist
15-30 hrs/wk, Mid-January – Mid-April
- Train and certify in tax preparation for VITA-eligible taxpayers, including international students
- Manage the incorporation of virtually submitted client intake packets to the dropoff cue
- Coordinate with Client Outreach Specialist to ensure clients are notified of any additional information require to complete their return and notify clients for return pickup
- Prepare all international student returns and submitting to program manager for quality review
- Support program manager by covering preparation vacancies as necessary and ensuring timely client contact as needed
Marketing & Communications Team
Work with the Marketing Team to create materials that connect people with the work and impact of United Way of Greater Lafayette and promote personal engagement of supporters with our initiatives and volunteer opportunities. This position is responsible for enhancing our internal and external communications initiatives to improve how we connect with the Greater Lafayette community, the media, and our donors. >>more

Graphic Designer
Create visual concepts, by hand or using Adobe Creative Suite, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. This position works directly with the Marketing & Design Associate to develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, invitations, brochures, e-marketing messages, website graphics, and corporate reports. >>more
