CONNECT AND INTERACT

Women United

Women who impact community change. Community change that impacts women. This is what Women United of Greater Lafayette is all about! Women United fights for a stronger community. We are leading the charge starting with education. Our website is currently under construction as we work to further develop our goals and plans for the upcoming year. You can still make an impact today! Our free, little libraries need your help.

Here are three ways to get involved:

  1. Donate books for the libraries! We’re always in need of a variety of genres.

  2. Volunteer to help maintain the little libraries! Now that the libraries are up we need to make sure they stay clean and well stocked.

  3. Stay up-to-date on all things Women United by join the Women United Group on Facebook!

If you are interested in making a Women United gift or have questions, please e-mail Janice Smith, Donor Experience Associate.

Emerging LEaders

Emerging Leaders United (ELU) is a group of young professionals from various backgrounds who are dedicated to improving the lives of people living in Greater Lafayette through our support of United Way’s mission and values.  Throughout the year we answer the call to give, advocate, and volunteer. Additionally, Emerging Leaders have unique opportunities to connect with philanthropic community leaders and learn about their professional journeys.  Individuals under 40 are invited to join The Vanguard with an annual gift of $500 or more. This honor is traditionally achieved through an annual gift of $1,000 or more and provides access to select networking events, as well as professional development.  Emerging Leaders United is a great way to connect, serve and lead our community!

To stay up-to-date on Emerging Leaders United, you can join our Facebook group or you can email uwgl@uwlafayette.org with questions.
