Women United is a group of generous supporters of United Way’s work in the community who come together to invigorate, mobilize and amplify meaningful work in the community, particularly in the areas of education and families and children.
Women United supports the annual Kindergarten Countdown Camp by preparing treats for students, places and provides books for Free Little Libraries around the community, and supports families with new additions by assembling a Goodnight Box to promote healthy bedtime routines.
Women United members also regularly reach out to the community by preparing and serving meals at Lafayette Transitional Housing Center and providing snacks for Boot Camp participants at Lafayette Adult Resource Academy.
Joining this network of women impacting community change is easy! Become a United Way supporter by donating a gift of any size, and contact Elyse Storey to let her know you’d like to be involved with this affinity group. Already a donor? Then you’re already halfway there!
